Method of Delivery

Distance:

The Faculty of Theology is utilizing a blended learning method of delivery for the BTh Hons qualification. The lecturers have developed online modules to enable self-directed learning on the side of the student. That means that the student works on his/her own and communicates with the lecturer and submits all the assignments online on our electronic platform (eFundi). Students write exams at exam centres close (usually) to them. Some modules make use of continuous assessment. That will mean that students don't need to go to exam centres to write a sit-down exam there.

It is important to note that a person should be in possession of a computer and have good access to internet if he/she would like to do distance studies. It is also the student's responsibility to find the books that are needed.
