Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013

The North-West University (NWU) subscribes and complies to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.  The NWU can however not be held responsible for provision of personal information to a third party when personal information is requested from the NWU through that third party on behalf of the data subject.  Information requested by third parties with an indication that it is on behalf of the data subject, will be deemed to be legitimate and that the necessary consent from the data subject has been provided.
